Who we are

Ramon Maronier is the founder and the CEO of GameSome. He has 25 years of experience in education, creative fields and working with diversity. Ramon studied music and pedagogy in his original home country the Netherlands, and since moving to Finland in late-90’s, has taught and organised production in Sibelius Academy and elementary schools, among others.

Together with his partner Katja Lindroos he initiated and produced Kaupunkioppi – City Learning programme. This game-based learning and teaching pilot was organised as part of Lähiöfest in elementary schools in four different cities with over 350 pupils and teachers participating. The pilot was presented also as a demo at Helsinki Education Week in 2019 to international education experts.

Christian Robinson designs the graphic identity for the digital platform of GameSome. He was born in Wales and is of British-Syrian descent. For the past 20 years Chris has worked in Finland as a media designer and a consultant in corporations and in the arts and culture sector. The projects he has been involved with have taken him to comprehensive schools all around Finland.

Katja Lindroos works as an advisor for GameSome and is in charge of the partnerships program. She is the CEO of Urban Practice and an expert of multi-stakeholder collaboration working currently as project manager for Finnish Design Info association. She has initiated together with Ramon Maronier various projects involving cities and other public institutions, corporations, universities, NGOs, private entrepreneurs and different representatives of the civic society.

Anton Ruben Maronier is working as a Game Host in Game&Learn Clubs. He is a student of Social Sciences at Tallinn University. Anton has worked as a tutor for children with learning difficulties and developed Game-Based learning methods to help them to learn Math and reading comprehension among others.

GameSome was registered as a company name in 2022 by toiminimi Ramon Maronier (sole trader registered 2002). After the initial development phase (July 2022- January 2022) the intention is to form GameSome as a non profit Limited Company.
